Kekasihku Seru (TV3)

A really good friend of mine, Azam Fadley, have convinced me to watch a Malay drama series known as "Kekasihku Seru". At first I was not that much interested, but he said that he'll give me the complete episodes and that I will learn to love it.

One night, after Iftar, me and Azam went to Azmi's house because he wanted to watch "Waris" which is the sequel to "Kekasihku Seru". I found "Waris" to be rather fascinating. The ghost make up is so good, and the story line was impressive. So I decided to watch "Kekasihku Seru" anyway and instantly fell in love with the story. I could never imagine a Malay "horror" drama to be so good.

Kekasihku Seru ialah sebuah siri televisyen bergenre seram yang dihasilkan di Malaysia. Drama bersiri ini diarahkan oleh Kabir Bhatia dan skripnya ditulis oleh Mira Mustapha. Drama disiarkan di TV3 pada 24 Julai 2008 ^[1] hingga 30 Oktober 2008 menerusi slot "Seram". Siri ini diterbitkan oleh Filmscape dan pernah memenangi gelaran Drama Rantaian Terbaik dalam Anugerah Skrin 2009.^[2]

Sinopsis

Marisa (Emelda Rosmila) merupakan graduan dalam bidang sains dan ingin melanjutkan pelajaran dalam bidang kedoktoran. Misteri bermula setelah Marisa mengetahui bahawa beliau adalah seorang anak angkat, keinginan untuk mengenali keluarga asal membawa Marisa ke alam penuh mistik dan pelik.

Marissa bertemu dengan pasangan adik beradik Mas Suri (Umi Aida), Mas Ayu (Kuza) dan Mas Lela (Rose Iskandar). Dia merasakan bahawa salah seorang daripada mereka merupakan ibunya Mas Suri seorang yang tegas dan jarang sekali berperasaan sensitif, bertanggungjawab untuk menjaga Mas Ayu daripada gangguan Waris.

Waris (Hairi Othman) telah hidup di dalam keadaan terumbang-ambing selama 100 tahun. Untuk memastikan hayatnya berpanjangan, Waris memerlukan seorang kekasih dari keturunan Mas Ayu. Selama ini keturunan Mas Ayu cuba menghalang gangguan Waris dengan tidak membenarkan anak-anak perempuan mereka untuk berkahwin, apatah lagi Mastura (Emelda Rosmila), seorang nenek moyang Marissa, dengan alasan perbezaan darjat.

Mas Ayu pula kini dalam keadaaan katatonia, dan tidak mampu bergerak atau berkata-kata. Waris cuba mempertaruhkan Mas Ayu demi kepentingannya namun dalam masa yang sama dia tidak dibenarkan hidup oleh Mas Suri yang mahu mengawal kuasa Waris.

Sementara itu, Rashad (Fizz Fairuz) bekerja sebagai pensyarah di sebuah universiti tempatan. Beliau telah kehilangan anak dan isterinya di dalam kemalangan jalan raya dan sejak itu, beliau mampu melihat makhluk halus di sekelilingnya. Abangnya mati dibunuh dan Rashad cuba menyelesaikan misteri kematian abangnya yang merupakan mangsa Waris.

random thoughts at sahur

It has been such a long time since I last poured my heart into this blog.
I know, and I'm sorry. The thing is, I just can't seem to be able to write about anything.
Because, I'm am starting to loose interest in the things that I used to be involved with.
I don't know, is it because of the fact that I am now single? does it somehow affect my way of thinking?
Or the way I see things? I just could't bother.

Honestly, I don't like this "ME". I feel so lost sometimes.
I wish I could talk to someone, but who? No one seems to pay attention.
No one seems to bother. I guess it serves me right for asking and hoping way too much.

So I guess this is all I can give as for now. Maybe this will start to give me the urges to update this blog more in the future. So you soon.
