Azam's Rant - Awat Hang Cakap Lendiaq!!! (Lendir)

Yunalis Zarai

You see, I like to draw whenever I am in the mood. One fine night while I was with my dear friends at McDonalds, I felt like drawing my own version of Malaysia's very own amazing songstress, Yunalis Zarai or better known as Yuna. So i googled for a picture of her and Started to draw.

When I was finally done with my work (although it looked nothing like Yuna except for the turban), a thought  crossed my mind. I thought that it would be great if
i can get Yuna to sign my drawing.

Finally, thanks to my dear friend, Azam Fadley, who played the violin for Yuna's performance during the recent Shout Awards, I got my wish.

Stars

Stars differ from one another.

despite their differences, 

they shine so bright.

twinkling in the night sky.

As bright as they could be,

they can never shine forever.

for every good things come to an end.

so let us cherish and appreciate

all the times that we have with them

My pet hedgehog gave birth to seven beautiful hoglets yesterday morning. Sadly one of the hoglets didn't make it. So here is a video of the new mummy hedgehog and her six pepperoni babies.

I have a pair of Djungarian Winter Hamsters and a pair of African Pygmy Hedgehogs.

The brown Djungarian hamster is called Mona, and her mate is Mike. The cinnamon colored hedgehog is Ron, who is a gift from a friend, Aliyah Saad, while his friend is called Pepper which I bought last month.

My 24th Birthday

 Two birthday cakes, dinner with family and a surprise from friends. what more can i ask for? ♥

My parents got me this awesome birthday cake for my birthday. Since it's Ramadhan, we celebrated during iftar. We had the usual birthday song singing (by the three girls) and cake cutting session for iftar.

We only have dinner later that night at Asiokis.

after dinner, i decided to take some of the cake to share with my friends.

So I went to KSAH, since my friend Banchakorn stays there for the time being, and was surprised with yet another cake and celebration.

it was a great birthday for me.

Waris

Waris is actually the sequel for the Malay drama series known as Kekasihku Seru, which i have previously blogged about. Just follow the link for some information. I really love how the story develops. This time the story revolves around Marisa and Rashad's family. Waris was summoned by Mas Ayu on the day that Marisa gave birth to a pair of twins, Maisarah and Amar. Their Grandmother, Mas Suri secretly switched Maisarah with another baby (who eventually died, leaving Marisa and Rashad believing that they only have Amar), and send Maisarah away to protect the whole family from Waris.

That is pretty much about the series.

Mengisahkan kehidupan Rashad dan Marisa selepas 10 tahun yang tenang bersama anak lelaki mereka Amar. Waris menjadi igauan ngeri bagi Marisa pada suatu ketika dulu kerana dia merupakan mangsa kepada Waris yang memerlukan seorang kekasih dari keturunan Mas Ayu untuk memastikan hayatnya berpanjangan.

Marisa bersyukur kerana dapat memulakan kehidupan baru bersama suami tersayang dan anak lelakinya yang sangat ceria dan aktif. Kadang-kala dia akan berasa sedih apabila terkenangkan anak kembarnya yang sudah meninggal dunia pada hari kelahiran.

Rashad dan Marisa telah membawa Amar bercuti di Terengganu. Dalam perjalanan, mereka terserempak dengan sebuah upacara pengebumian di mana seorang wanita telah dibunuh secara kejam dan meninggalkan anak perempuannya yang masih kecil, Sarah.

Marisa menjadi panik apabila Amar hilang dari penglihatan mereka. Selepas dijumpai, Amar terkena sawan. Namun, doktor mengesahkan keadaan Amar normal selepas melakukan pelbagai ujian. Sejak itu, Amar berubah menjadi murung dan cepat marah. Buntu melihat perubahan anak mereka, Rashad dan Marisa telah membawanya pulang berjumpa dengan Mas Suri, Ibu kepada Marisa.

Mas Suri mula berasa bimbang jika masalah yang sering membelenggu fikirannya selama ini telah menjadi nyata. Dia risau jika Waris telah bangkit semula. Mas Suri terpaksa membuka rahsia yang anak kembar perempuan Marisa masih hidup dan berada di bawah jagaan Rokiah. Mas Suri terpaksa memisahkannya daripada Marisa kerana dia tahu Waris akan kembali memburu anak perempuan keturunan mereka. Rokiah yang dipertanggungjawabkan menjaga anak perempuan itu telah menyerahkan anak tersebut kepada sepupunya kerana menganggapnya sebagai beban.

Marisa seakan tidak percaya mendengar pengakuan Mas Suri. Tergamak Mas Suri melakukan perkara yang sama dia pernah lakukan pada Marisa. Mas Suri memohon maaf daripada Marisa kerana dia tiada pilihan lain bagi melindungi cucu perempuannya daripada ancaman Waris. Selama ini, Mas Suri sedar bahawa Mas Ayu tidak akan berputus asa dan dia akan menyeru semula Waris.

Amar menjadi sasaran baru Waris yang terdesak untuk mencari Tuan baru kerana keadaan Mas Ayu yang terlalu lemah dan sedang nazak. Waris perlukan badan baru untuk berkuasa semula. Walaupun masih marah terhadap ibunya, Marisa perlukan bantuan Mas Suri untuk menjejaki anak perempuannya, Sarah yang kini dijaga oleh Aida dan suaminya, Fariz.

Sarah membesar dalam keadaan yang daif tanpa belaian kasih sayang. Selepas ibu angkatnya meninggal dunia, Aida telah mempelawa Sarah untuk tinggal bersama. Tanpa disedari, Aida telah mengundang bahaya dalam kehidupannya. Sarah yang dipengaruhi oleh kuasa jahat telah memberi ancaman nyawa kepada ahli keluarga barunya.

Sempatkah Mas Suri dan Marisa menjejaki Sarah sebelum Waris? Apakah muslihat Waris akan berjaya pada kali ini? Berjayakah Mas Suri membebaskan keturunannya daripada ancaman Waris buat selama-lamanya?

Kekasihku Seru (TV3)

A really good friend of mine, Azam Fadley, have convinced me to watch a Malay drama series known as "Kekasihku Seru". At first I was not that much interested, but he said that he'll give me the complete episodes and that I will learn to love it.

One night, after Iftar, me and Azam went to Azmi's house because he wanted to watch "Waris" which is the sequel to "Kekasihku Seru". I found "Waris" to be rather fascinating. The ghost make up is so good, and the story line was impressive. So I decided to watch "Kekasihku Seru" anyway and instantly fell in love with the story. I could never imagine a Malay "horror" drama to be so good.

Kekasihku Seru ialah sebuah siri televisyen bergenre seram yang dihasilkan di Malaysia. Drama bersiri ini diarahkan oleh Kabir Bhatia dan skripnya ditulis oleh Mira Mustapha. Drama disiarkan di TV3 pada 24 Julai 2008 ^[1] hingga 30 Oktober 2008 menerusi slot "Seram". Siri ini diterbitkan oleh Filmscape dan pernah memenangi gelaran Drama Rantaian Terbaik dalam Anugerah Skrin 2009.^[2]

Sinopsis

Marisa (Emelda Rosmila) merupakan graduan dalam bidang sains dan ingin melanjutkan pelajaran dalam bidang kedoktoran. Misteri bermula setelah Marisa mengetahui bahawa beliau adalah seorang anak angkat, keinginan untuk mengenali keluarga asal membawa Marisa ke alam penuh mistik dan pelik.

Marissa bertemu dengan pasangan adik beradik Mas Suri (Umi Aida), Mas Ayu (Kuza) dan Mas Lela (Rose Iskandar). Dia merasakan bahawa salah seorang daripada mereka merupakan ibunya Mas Suri seorang yang tegas dan jarang sekali berperasaan sensitif, bertanggungjawab untuk menjaga Mas Ayu daripada gangguan Waris.

Waris (Hairi Othman) telah hidup di dalam keadaan terumbang-ambing selama 100 tahun. Untuk memastikan hayatnya berpanjangan, Waris memerlukan seorang kekasih dari keturunan Mas Ayu. Selama ini keturunan Mas Ayu cuba menghalang gangguan Waris dengan tidak membenarkan anak-anak perempuan mereka untuk berkahwin, apatah lagi Mastura (Emelda Rosmila), seorang nenek moyang Marissa, dengan alasan perbezaan darjat.

Mas Ayu pula kini dalam keadaaan katatonia, dan tidak mampu bergerak atau berkata-kata. Waris cuba mempertaruhkan Mas Ayu demi kepentingannya namun dalam masa yang sama dia tidak dibenarkan hidup oleh Mas Suri yang mahu mengawal kuasa Waris.

Sementara itu, Rashad (Fizz Fairuz) bekerja sebagai pensyarah di sebuah universiti tempatan. Beliau telah kehilangan anak dan isterinya di dalam kemalangan jalan raya dan sejak itu, beliau mampu melihat makhluk halus di sekelilingnya. Abangnya mati dibunuh dan Rashad cuba menyelesaikan misteri kematian abangnya yang merupakan mangsa Waris.

random thoughts at sahur

It has been such a long time since I last poured my heart into this blog.
I know, and I'm sorry. The thing is, I just can't seem to be able to write about anything.
Because, I'm am starting to loose interest in the things that I used to be involved with.
I don't know, is it because of the fact that I am now single? does it somehow affect my way of thinking?
Or the way I see things? I just could't bother.

Honestly, I don't like this "ME". I feel so lost sometimes.
I wish I could talk to someone, but who? No one seems to pay attention.
No one seems to bother. I guess it serves me right for asking and hoping way too much.

So I guess this is all I can give as for now. Maybe this will start to give me the urges to update this blog more in the future. So you soon.

My sister, Umairah, has given birth to a cute baby boy last few weeks. Another nephew to be added into my growing family! His proud parents have chosen to call him by the name Mohamad Afiq.

Smuggling

Hey readers. I have something to share with all of you. Those who know me are very much aware of the fact that i have hamsters as my pet.

I managed to bring them back to Alor Setar for the holidays! The funny thing is, we traveled by bus. So what I did was, I put them in their exercise balls and place them in my bag and simply board the bus. I was scared that they'd be cold and got sick, or worse die form it. I was scared that they might cause bad smell or make noises to make the other passengers uneasy, but luckily they were totally well behaved throughout the journey from Shah Alam to Alor Setar.

Now, all five of them, Faye, Jonas, Tina, Mike & Mon are safe at my home in Alor Setar. =D

This also happens to be their first time being here. My three nieces were all excited when they first saw them. And now every time they got  back fromschool, they'll make sure to check up on the little hamsters.

eating ice creams

two friends. jo and joe

used to eat ice cream together all the time

one day  jo started to get caught in lot of hassle

so jo cant always have ice cream sessions with joe anymore.

so they started to drift apart.

and joe started to have ice creams with other friends.

when jo finally get things done and there were no more hassle

joe was so happy that jo is back

so they can have ice creams again like they used to

jo have so much to share with joe

but joe also have other ice cream friends now

so in order to be fair

jo decided to let joe spend some ice cream sessions with them.

but as time goes by, jo realizes that joe spends more time with the new gang

so jo felt lonely. but what can be done now?

so jo just kept everything inside.

Sahc Band : Romeo & Juliet

My school band performed their theme Romeo & Juliet during the Malaysia National Band Competition (NATCOMP) 2012 Preliminary Round in Kedah. They managred to get 75.3 point and got 2nd place next to Keat Hwa Marching Band =)

I am so proud of them! Keep it up guys!
