When I watch a Disney movie, I always wonder where is the movie  being set up at. Where do they get the inspiration from. Then I found this post on tumblr that answered almost all my questions. =)

Acknowledge

Getting hurt, is painful. But no matter how much pain you have to endure, getting hurt is a part of life. There's no escaping it. We never imagine how our first heartbreak would be like even when it is the kind of life experience that will help us grow up.

Let's start to acknowledge our heartaches, accept our mistakes and understand that not everything bad is negative.

Pinocchio

Have you ever heard the story of Pinocchio?

I'm sure most of you have. and for those who haven't, the story is about a wooden puppet boy who dream of becoming a real human boy. A fairy told him that all he had to do for his dreams to come to be was to never tall a lie and always tell the truth. As much as he tried to do the right thing, he fell to his own temptations and lied.

Do you know what happened in the end? The thing is, his dreams came true after all. Of course for that to happen he had to feel really sorry for what he did, and the fairy gave him a second chance, and that do something to correct his wrongs, own up to his mistakes.

But don't you think that's what life is all about? Making mistakes, realizing them, and doing things right.

We all are Pinocchios. Don't you think?

Sleeping Child

I really miss the times when everything was simpler. When I can just do things without having to think about the consequences. When nothing seems to bother me. when everyone was so innocent and pure. As time goes by, everyone keeps getting darker. All those skeletons they have to keep. All the dirty little secrets. They rot your insides. Slowly but surely they rot you. Change you. Slowly turns you into someone even yourself won't be able to recognize.

But I like to believe that inside these darkness lies the innocence. That child we were all once was. Sleeping so tenderly. I like to believe that despite all this negativity, there is still good inside all of us. That this small part of our past will someday save us. That there is still hope for a better life.

Poem

Earlier today someone thanked me for helping her. I was totally clueless because I was at home the whole day and I have not met anyone except my housemates. Then she clarified that she was going through a phase and while she was going through my tumblr page, she saw something that I have wrote a long time ago on the sidebar. She said that reading that helped her to calm down.

So I have decided to share it with all you who actually reads my blog.

Anyway, I find the movie to be kind of nice.

Just wanted to share some quotes from the movie that I like.

Run

There was once a boy. A boy who above all else wants to do anything to make his family and friends proud. A boy who once had a dream. As the boy grew older, he realized that he must let go of some things that he holds dear for nothing lasts forever. One day, there was a marathon and everyone he knew and cherished took part. He was so excited about the run. He always liked to run. When the signal was shot, everybody started to run including the boy. He was rather fast. He felt so good. Suddenly he started to feel the drop in his pace. He was panting and gasping for air. But he did not stop instead he slow down. Others started to overtake him. One by one passed him and he starts to loose faith. He don't think he will make it to the finish line. What should he do?

Sad but somehow I can relate to this situation.

Somehow this video reminds me of Malaysia.

Setia Alam with Pon & Yah

I went to Setia City Mall yesterday with dear friends Yah and Pon.

We sat at the park and watched a group of men practicing synchronized kite flying.

It was kind of amazing. I never knew that such thing existed.

Later we went window shopping.

We went to H&M store and i saw this super cute kid shirt!

And it looks exactly like the one I wore on my recital.

Isn't it cute?

And it looks the same with my shirt. with the black tie and all.

Then we went to Typo.

I loved the things you can find in the store.

Soft pastels for coloring. I'm sure my friend Azam would love this.

I also find their sketch books and markers nice. I even took the liberty to do a quick doodle on the book that they leave for customers to try out their pens and markers.

I really like the things they have in Typo.

Doodle-ing

Have you ever feel so tired whenever you are staying up late trying hard to finish your work / assignments ? What do you do to make you feel a little relaxed?

As far as I know, most of us like to drink coffee (or any energy drink that can help keep them energized and awake), eat something, watch some funny video on the internet, listen to some music, or take a power nap.

In my case, I will start to doodle and draw. So here is something that I did last night.

I tend to doodle on sleepless nights.

I have been feeling homesick for quite some time now. So I have decided to spend a few days at my sister's place. How I miss the kids! Being at my sister's place made me homesick even more. So I'm coming Home Mama! I'm coming home sooner than you think.

Two Birds

Two birds of a feather,

Sitting on the branch of the tallest tree in town.
